A street sign bearing the name of Yahya Ayyash St. Palestinian Authority in the West Bank town of Ramallah, 08 April 2010. The Palestinian authority had decided on the new name of the street. Ayyash, known also as the engineer, was born in Nablus area in 1966, studied electrical engineering , in Bir Zeit University, he join the Hamas militants group of Al-Qassam brigades, Israel claimed he was the architect of multiple attacks, including a 1994 bombing of a Tel Aviv bus, which killed 20 people, and injured dozens. He was killed in Beit Lahya in the Gaza Strip in 1996. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement in response to the naming, saying it was an "outrageous glorification of terrorism by the Palestinian Authority."
