Charles F. Bolden, NASA Administrator and four times astronaut, talked to high school students at the American Center Jerusalem as part of his visit to Israel for the 5th Ilan Ramon International Conference. With a keen interest in education and in communicating with students, Mr. Bolden met with students from Beit Zafafa high school, Keshet high school, Shuvu Religious Boys high school and the Israel Arts and Science Academy. Urging the students to study hard and to strive to expand their knowledge to the limits, he also stressed the importance of not being afraid of failure. In his hour-long, highly interactive discussion with the students, he noted that NASA is more than a space program, working on medicine, aeronautics and in other fields.
