Razal found the bird several days ago in a bad state after it had eaten poison during its migration across Israel from Africa back toward Europe. He arranged to hand the bird over to Atar who then gave the bird to an Israeli veterinarian who works with wild animals in the Nature and Parks Authority, who was able to nurse the bird back to good health.Photo by NATI SHOHAT FLASH90
