The Imperial Eagle was found injured in Israel by Atef during the migrates of Eagles from Africa. Atef transfered the eagle to Aviam Atar from The Israel Nature and Parks Authority, and aviam gave it to Shmulik Landau who treated the eagle until it's recovery. Aviram Atar (L) from The Israel Nature and Parks Authority (NPA) and Atef Razal (R), a Palestinian, hold up an Imperial Eagle before it is released outside Hebron in the northern West Bank on 06 March 2009. Razal found the bird several days ago in a bad state after it had eaten poison during its migration across Israel from Africa back toward Europe. He arranged to hand the bird over to Atar who then gave the bird to an Israeli veterinarian who works with wild animals in the Nature and Parks Authority, who was able to nurse the bird back to good health.Photo by NATI SHOHAT FLASH90
