Anna rescued by hiding and providing food to Dr Joachim (Chaim) Flescher. Anna boldly reported to the swiss Consulate in Italy that Joachim had fled, that his whereabouts are unknow, and that she was moving in his apartment. With the Swiss certicate on the door that she obtained Dr Flesher remained hidden from the Germans and Italian Facsists six months untill the lieberation of Rome on June 4 1944.
