Attorney Avigdor Feldman will join President Moshe Katsav's defense team today, replacing attorney David Libai, who yesterday announced his resignation. The choice of Feldman, a well-known human rights lawyer, indicates that Katsav plans to press his argument that the behavior of the police and prosecution during the investigation violated his rights.
