Participants of Taglit Birthright repel down Mount Arbel, a mountain in the Lower Galilee near Tiberias in Israel, that has split into two after an earthquake. On the mountain there are four settlements: Kfar Zeitim, Arbel, Kfar Hittim, and Mitspeh. There used to be ancient Jewish settlements there. Birthright is a philanthropic effort spearheaded by billionaires Charles and Edgar Bronfman to give every Jewish child in the world a free trip to Israel ages 18-26 marking a turning point in relations between Israel and Jews in the Diaspora.
