The the child, and two teenagers, his brother Alah Batch and 15-year-old Ahmed Swessi, according to Palestinian doctors and witnesses, were killed when an Israeli missile strike was fired against Islamic Jihad militants in Gaza City that were also killed. The Israeli military confirmed the attack, saying the target was one of the dead men, Islamic Jihad operative Moner Sukar, who had carried out rocket attacks against Israel .
