Supporters of the Islamic Hamas movement hold a rally in the West Bank city of Ramallah, calling for the release of prisoners being held in Israeli prisons on May 5, 2012, as ten Palestinian hunger strikers held at an Israeli prison have been moved to hospital because of their deteriorating health, the Palestinian envoy to the United Nations said. At least 1,550 Palestinian prisoners are now on hunger strike in Israeli jails protesting their detention.
