Cyclists are riding special devices that generate alternative energy on Earth Hour event in Rabin Square, Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv municipality urged residents and business owners to turn off their electricity from 8-9 P.M. on Thursday evening, as part of a worldwide off-the-grid campaign against global warming and energy waste. An unplugged concert was held in Rabin Square. All energy supplied to the stage and minimal lighting required for safety came from renewed and alternative energy sources.
