A worker picks the closed frond off a plam tree that will later be used as part of the Jewish Ritual during the holiday of Sukkot. It is one of the arba'ah minim which are used in the morning prayer services during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The other species are the hadass (myrtle), aravah (willow), and etrog (citron).
